Vienna Sausage Chicken

Vienna Sausage Chicken from Libby are ready-made, finely seasoned sausages. Enjoy it heated, chilled, or straight from the can or as a snack, main course or sliced and added to stews and soups. The Vienna Sausage in this form is the North American version of the Frankfurt sausages that we know in this region. They are smaller and much shorter canned sausages sold with different types of sauces. Vienna sausages are made by mixing finely ground pork or chicken with salt and spices, but in particular with mustard. The sausages are then smoked in a long mantle and cooked, after which the intestines are removed. The sausages are then chopped up and preserved in a tin.

How to heat?

• Microwave - heat the sausages in their own stock for 45 seconds.
• Cooker / hob - Heat the sausages in the stock until warm.
