Sapin Sapin is a traditional Filipino dessert made from glutinous rice and coconut milk. This dish is traditionally made with 3 flavors, the yellow layer has a light taste of jack fruit, the white layer of coconut, and the purple layer of ube. Make this delicious traditional dish easy with the Galinco Sarap Pinoy mix. It is no longer necessary to wait for a special day or a celebration, with this mix you turn every day into a party.
Preparation method
- Fill the steam pan half full with water
- Grease a round shape a 20 cm with some butter.
- Mix 2 packs of coconut powder with 350 ml of water.
- Divide the coconut mixture into 3 parts.
- Mix 1 sachet of each powder mix with the coconut mixture.
- You will then receive a yellow / white / purple mixture.
- Pour the purple mixture into the mold and cook for 8 minutes in the steam pan.
- Then pour the white mixture into the mold and cook for 5 minutes in the steam pan.
- Finally, pour the yellow mixture into the mold and then cook for 8 minutes in a steam pan.
- Let it get cold and then release it from the mold.
Tip = Put some roasted coconut flakes on top.
