Pork Longanisa Sweet

Bring an authentic taste experience to your kitchen with the Sweet Pork Longanisa from Nida Philippine Products. Inspired by traditional Spanish Longaniza, these Filipino sausages offer a delightful balance of sweetness and garlic, perfect for a flavorful meal. Unlike the dried Spanish version, these Longanisa are soft and juicy, requiring a quick pan-fry before serving.

Packed in sets of 8, they are ideal for both breakfast and dinner. Try them in the classic "longsilog" dish, served with fried rice and a sunny-side-up egg, or add them to your favorite recipes for a unique twist. A true Filipino delicacy that’s sure to surprise your taste buds!

Preparation method:

  • Thaw before use.
  • Blanch for approximately 30 minutes in around 200 ml of water.
  • Once the water has evaporated and the sausages start to release oil, pan-fry the sausages until golden brown and cooked through (to an internal temperature of about 75°C).
  • After blanching, the sausages can also be grilled or baked in the oven.

Ingredients:

Pork (83%), cane sugar, salt, preservative E250, garlic, black pepper, paprika powder, beetroot concentrate, color E120, flavor enhancer E621, pork casing
