Panko Bread Crumbs

Panko bread crumbs are dry pieces of bread that are intended as a paneer layer for fried vegetables, chicken or shrimps. It is lighter and sweeter than our well-known breadcrumbs here in the Netherlands, but just as easy to use.

How to use

Use it just as you are used to with normal breadcrumbs. Remove the product that you want to slice through the flour, egg yolk and then roll through the panko bread crumbs until evenly covered. Heat your deep fryer to 170-180 ° C and fry your product crispy. If you find the crumbs too coarse, you can make it finer with a rolling pin. If you keep the bread crumbs dry and air-tight, you can progress for months/years
