Indonesian satay marinade for meat
Saté or also called satay is a meat dish that originated in South-East Asia. It is a dish with pieces of pierced meat that is grilled and served with a sauce. Ingredients for 4 people:
- 1 package of spice paste for satay
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 450g chicken or other meat, diced
- Cucumber slices and onion rings as garnish
Preparation:
- Marinate the meat with the marinade and the oil
- Let the meat stand covered for at least 2 hours
- Thread the meat on wooden sticks
- Grill on a grill for about 8 to 10 minutes
- Serve with soy sauce or peanut sauce
