Brownies Kukus

Brownies Kukus is a famous rich chocolate cake. Pondan now presents Steamed Brownies Mix for easy and quick preparation of brownies for your beloved family. This mix is part of the big pondan family where you can make delicious Indonesian desserts or cakes yourself.

Tips:

If desired, you can add 1 ½ tablespoons of rum into the batter on the 4th step.

Preparation method:

1. Put the chocolate, margarine and butter in a bowl and melt them in a bain marie over hot water.
2. Beat the eggs on high speed for 3 minutes until foamy.
3. Add Pondan Steam Brownies cake mix, then mix on high speed for 4 minutes until thick. Add the melted chocolate butter to the mixture and then mix well with a spatula. 
4. I. Grease all sides and bottom of pan with margarine. Pour 1/3 part of the mixture into a 20x20 cm square pan then steam it for 10 minutes.
5. II. Pour the other 2/3 of mixture onto cooked cake then steam again for another 25 minutes until done.
6. Your Brownies are done when you insert the toothpick into the center and it comes out clean.
7. Ready to serve.
