Dahon Ng Sili (Pepper Leaves)
These leaves are the leaves of the Chili peppers. The young leaves are picked fresh and can be eaten as a vegetable. The leaves have a mild bitter taste and are a source of clacium, phosphorus, iron. The leaves also contain a lot of Vitamin A & B. The leaves are widely used in Asian cuisine, especially Philippine cuisine. The leaves are an important part of various dishes, including Tinola. In Korea it is also used in the kimchi dish.
